Connect your calendar
- Open Settings → Integrations and choose Google Calendar.
- Sign in to Google and approve access on the consent screen.
- The first sync starts on its own within a few minutes, or choose Sync now to start it straight away. It covers everything from the start of last month to the end of next month.
Google Calendar is included on every plan. Hourari reads your primary calendar only; other calendars you subscribe to are not read.
What Hourari asks Google for, and why, is listed on the Google Calendar integration page.
How syncing works
Your calendar is synced again about every 30 minutes. To pick up a change sooner, choose Sync now in the Google Calendar panel.
All-day events are not priced. Events without a title are skipped.
Does Hourari change my calendar?
Only when you ask it to: declining a meeting from Hourari sends a real decline from your account, and scheduling a meeting from Hourari creates the event. It does not create, move or cancel anything on its own.
If syncing stops
The Google Calendar panel shows the connection's health.
- "Calendar access expired. Reconnect to resume syncing." Google has stopped accepting Hourari's access — usually because the access was removed from your Google account, or the password changed. Choose Reconnect and approve access again.
- "Last sync failed." or a specific error. These are usually temporary problems on Google's side and clear on their own; Hourari keeps retrying. Reconnecting will not help, so the panel does not offer it.
- "Syncing has stopped, so meetings may be out of date." No sync has completed for a while. Try Sync now; if it keeps happening, contact support.
Disconnect
Choose Disconnect in the Google Calendar panel. Hourari revokes its access with Google at the same time.
