Who it is for
The free plan is for a workspace of up to 5 people. It has no time limit and needs no card.
Every new workspace starts with a 14-day trial of Business, unless you picked Team on the pricing page. When the trial ends, you can choose Team or Business to keep every feature. If you don't choose a plan, the workspace moves to the free plan and nothing is charged. The owner's Billing page shows what each plan keeps from the trial, during it and after it ends. A workspace on a paid plan that cancels moves to the free plan at the end of its billing period.
Nothing is deleted when a workspace moves to the free plan. Your meetings, costs, rates and settings stay, and your calendar keeps syncing.
What it includes
- A cost on every meeting, with your full meeting history.
- The Overview, Meetings and Insights pages.
- Google Calendar and Outlook sync.
- Worth it and not worth it ratings, and nudging a meeting's organizer by email.
- Meetings CSV export and printing over preset date ranges, and the Insights report as a PDF, with a small Hourari mark.
- The weekly digest and the monthly insights email.
- A team list of up to 5 people. Owners and admins can invite, remove and change people's access.
What needs a paid plan
These show an upgrade option where they appear:
- Cost trends, meeting health and the recurring meeting audit.
- Team insights, sub-teams and budgets.
- Slack reports, pre-flight cost warnings, and custom rates per role.
- Everything else listed for Business and Enterprise on the pricing page.
If the workspace made sub-teams on a paid plan, they are kept when it moves to the free plan. The Teams tab lists them as saved, and choosing Business brings them back as they were. Until then they do nothing: team leads lose their extra access to the team's meetings, and new people are not added to a team automatically. An owner or admin can still delete one.
More than 5 people
A free workspace can have up to 5 people, counting pending invitations. Once it is full, new invitations are refused until someone is removed or the workspace chooses a paid plan.
If a workspace with more than 5 people moves to the free plan, nobody loses access straight away:
- Everyone sees a notice with a date 14 days ahead, and the owner gets an email. A reminder follows 3 days before the date.
- Before the date, the owner can choose a plan to keep everyone, or open Team and choose the 5 people who keep access. The owner is always one of them.
- On the date, everyone else's seat is paused. If the owner didn't choose, the owner, admins and the earliest people to join keep access.
A person whose seat is paused can still sign in, but sees only a notice, with a button to remind the owner. Their meetings keep syncing and nothing is deleted. Choosing a plan brings everyone back straight away, and removing people until the workspace is back to 5 brings the rest back within the hour.
Choosing a plan
The owner can choose a plan at any time from Settings → Billing. Paid features switch on straight away, with everything you had on the free plan still there.
