Use the Outlook add-in

Install Hourari for Outlook from Microsoft AppSource and see what a meeting costs while you are still writing the invite.

Hourari for Outlook shows the cost of a meeting while you are still writing the invite, before it goes out. It works in Outlook on the web, new Outlook for Windows, and Outlook for Mac.

Plan: Team, Business and Enterprise. On the free plan the pane says the cost before you send an invite is part of a paid plan, and links to pricing.

Who can use it: anyone in a workspace on one of those plans whose workspace lets them see costs. See Who can see costs.

Install it

  1. In Outlook, open Get Add-ins (in Outlook on the web it's under Apps), search for Hourari, and choose Hourari for Outlook. You can also install it from its Microsoft AppSource page, which Hourari links to from Settings → Integrations → Microsoft Outlook.
  2. Choose Add.

A Microsoft 365 admin can also deploy it to everyone at once from Integrated apps in the Microsoft 365 admin center.

See a meeting's cost

  1. Create a new meeting in your Outlook calendar, or open one you organize.
  2. Choose Meeting cost on the ribbon. In Outlook on the web it may be under … or Apps.
  3. The first time, choose Sign in to Hourari and sign in with your Hourari account.

The pane prices the meeting from who is invited and how long it runs, and updates as you add people or change the time. Recurring meetings also show their monthly and yearly cost.

  • Colleagues in your Hourari workspace are priced at their rate. Anyone without one is priced at your company's default rate.
  • Guests from outside your company are listed but not costed.
  • The add-in is read-only. It never changes your meeting.
