Hourari vs MeetingToll
MeetingToll is a Chrome extension that shows a meeting’s running cost on screen during Zoom, Google Meet and Microsoft Teams calls, with a dashboard of the results. Hourari works from the calendar instead: it prices every meeting, including ones with no video call, and helps you act on the expensive ones.

Where Hourari is different
Every meeting, not just the call you are on
Hourari reads the calendar, so in-person meetings and calls nobody opened in Chrome are priced too, and upcoming meetings can be reviewed before they happen.
Each person at their own rate
Hourari prices each attendee from their role or salary, so an hour with eight senior people stands out from an hour with new joiners.
From a number to a decision
Declining from your own calendar and recurring meetings that come up for review, on every plan, and budgets with alerts on Team and up, so the cost leads to fewer meetings.
When MeetingToll is the better fit
- If you want the cost ticking on screen during the call itself, MeetingToll does that and Hourari does not.
- If you need SOC 2 today: MeetingToll says it is SOC 2 Type II certified, and Hourari is not yet.
Questions
- Does Hourari show a live cost during a call?
- No. Hourari works from your calendar, so the cost is there before the meeting and in your reports after it, not on screen during the call.
- Do I need to install anything in my browser?
- No. Connect Google Calendar or Outlook and your meetings are priced within a few minutes.
