Hourari vs Reclaim
Reclaim, now part of Dropbox, is an AI calendar: it schedules tasks, habits and focus time around your meetings. Hourari answers a different question: what are those meetings costing, and which should go?

Where Hourari is different
A figure you can put in front of finance
Hourari prices each meeting from each attendee’s rate and shows the method in its docs, so the number holds up when someone asks where it came from.
Budgets for meeting spend
Set a monthly budget and get warned when the month is on pace to go over, while there is still time to act.
Salaries stay private
Real salaries stay with the workspace owner. Everyone else sees costs at your standard hourly rate, or hours instead of money.
When Reclaim is the better fit
- If you want an assistant to plan your week, block focus time and reschedule around conflicts, Reclaim does that and Hourari does not.
- If you need SOC 2 today: Reclaim lists it and Hourari does not have it yet.
Questions
- Can I use Hourari and Reclaim together?
- Yes. They do different jobs, and both read the same calendar.
- How does Hourari work out a meeting’s cost?
- Each attendee’s hourly rate times the time they spend, added up. The full rule is in the docs, under how meeting costs are calculated.
